For the public
Pottery Classes
Our public pottery classes directly support our member program. Your involvement means that we can continue offering low-barrier studio access and arts education to our members and to our community.
We offer 7 and 8 week pottery classes where you will learn the core techniques used in ceramic design including wheel throwing, trimming, hand building, and glazing.
Please note that we require proof of vaccination from all students enrolled in our pottery classes.

Workshops
Consider Inspirations Studio as the place to hold your next client appreciation or corporate team building event, or book a private pottery workshop with friends. Booking a workshops helps support our core work with women in our member programs. We have qualified instructors who can lead your group through the basics of hand building and throwing on the potter’s wheel. During our three-hour workshops you make the pottery, then we trim and glaze it for you and fire everyone’s work in our kilns.
The cost is $700 for a maximum of seven people and you will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt for $200.00. Your donation will go directly toward the clay and glazes needed to run the studio.
We offer workshops on Thursday Evenings from 6-9pm, Mondays and Saturdays from 11-2pm, and Sundays from 3-6pm.
Please email us at hello@inspirationsstudio.org to find out more.
Thank you!
For partner agencies

All workshops are co-taught by Inspirations Studio staff and Members. Please email us at hello@inspirationsstudio.org to discuss tailoring a program to your needs.
For future members
Classes are open to those who identify as women or non-binary, have been impacted by homelessness and poverty and who are on Ontario Works or the Ontario Disability Support Program. The program is intended for women who are interested in the arts and developing pottery skills to earn supplemental income. Involvement in the studio starts with an eight week course, after which women can apply to become members.
